Welcome from Head of School

¡Bienvenidos!

As the Head of School for La Escuela Comunitaria del Bronx (ECB), it is with great joy to welcome you to our community! Our educational staff and administrators dedicate themselves to supporting young children and their families throughout the most crucial years of children’s development. Our talented staff aims to promote and celebrate a love of learning in toddlers and preschoolers.  Building trust and relationships guides our approach to learning, in which children feel safe to explore, experiment, and grow. We actively listen and intentionally provide a responsive curriculum that highlights children’s questions, wondering, and narratives within a Spanish immersion classroom setting.  Our dual language, play-based approach celebrates the diversity within our community and ensures inclusivity amongst diverse learners within our educational setting. As a Bronx native, I am thrilled and very proud of providing a high-quality, child-centered, dual language program in the Bronx, that is accessible to all members of our community.
